A note from San Diego to thank you all for defending our
country and allowing us to live in freedom. I will be forever
thankful. Just remember when it gets difficult out there we are
all thinking about you back here. Our thoughts are always with

We are a family of me, Susan, the great aunt, Amanda, 21 who
is my grandniece and my secretary, Jason, 18, and Sara almost
14. We have friends in the military, some of them on the way to
the gulf. We just want you to know how very grateful we are to
you that you are fighting in this war. We all know that it is
necessary to protect our freedom. We hope this little reminder
of home will cheer you up and remind you that we are thinking of
you and praying for your success and safe return. In fact, Jason
and I participated in a support our troops demonstration at the
Oscars. (We were at the corner of Hollywood and Highland.) We
didn't see any stars (they all arrive in stretch limos) but we
saw a lot of the technical (camera men, set designers,
wardrobe--etc) people and we got a lot of thumbs up from them.
